Estimated fire damage of Jesusita is over $120 million not including a long-term impact to Santa Barbara residents and business owners.
It costed more than $15.5 million to fight the fire and the cost of 78 destroyed homes valued around $109 million. 22 more homes were damaged. 28 firefighters were injured while battling the fire.
On top of all that, tourism rate dicreased which leaded to dicreased retail sales, hotels bookings droped nearly %50, restaurant's reservations cancellation, etc.
